Product design for the cultural promotion of the Barcelona metropolitan area, creating an information platform and cultural calendar in three languages with personalized recommendations based on user profiles using AI. Project funded by Next Generation Funds for the Barcelona Institute of Culture.
Creation of the AMIC CULTURA project from scratch. Strategy, content ideation, calendar, and product development aimed at a local and international audience, building a cultural information platform to showcase the cultural activity of Barcelona and its surrounding areas through news coverage and reports, as well as a calendar that allows users to filter activities precisely according to their interests. This is accompanied by the development of a fully personalized newsletter based on user registration information, creating a community. Directories of organizations and facilities have been added. The hyperlocal perspective was crucial for the project, so a large map has also been included, showing the number of activities in each city. Finally, a chatbot called “Gràcia” has been designed. This character guides the user through the website and allows interaction to request recommendations; it’s a virtual assistant designed to provide useful information to any user. All of this was developed technically using BAB and SorensenAI.
